Communications/Political Adviser
Peter assists clients with internal and external communications for companies as a whole, as well as with universal messaging throughout entire industries. Prior to joining Renaissance Solutions, Peter served as the Senior Statehouse Reporter for the Colorado Springs Gazette and ColoradoPolitics.com, covering politics, the governor’s office, the Colorado Legislature, Congress, and federal, state and local governments. The Washington Post twice named Peter one of the top state-based political and legislative reporters in the nation. He also has won over a dozen awards from the Colorado Press Association. Peter uses his experience in media and communications to advise clients on prudent messaging strategies in order to best position those companies for success. Through utilizing earned media and cultivating relationships with reporters, politicians, policy-makers, and industry professionals, Peter is able to advise companies on how to own narratives so that they are positioned as industry thought leaders.

Information Technology and Software Development Adviser
Jim advises clients on all information technology-related services and programs, consulting on implementation and support of computing resources, network operations, security systems, and video surveillance. He has more than 20 years of experience in IT, including two decades in the pharmaceutical industry. Jim assists companies in meeting local/state/federal compliance standards. He is also a veteran, having served for 10 years in the U.S. Army as an Electronic Warfare Systems supervisor. Jim was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal with one oak leaf cluster as well as the Army Commendation Medal with two oak leaf clusters and the Good Conduct Medal. Prior to becoming a consultant with Renaissance Solutions, Jim supported novel drug development in emerging companies advancing to clinical-trial stages. He designed and supported medium-scale computing infrastructures that complied with federal regulations. He successfully redesigned core IT processes based on an international good-practice framework for information technology management and IT governance. Jim managed the implementation of an enterprise-wide, multi-tier security infrastructure to ensure data integrity and confidentiality of
corporate information. He brings this wealth of experience to Renaissance Solutions in our consulting work for companies grappling with IT issues and management.
